RAWALPINDI — Patients and the medical profession are paying a heavy price for the technological advances in the form of steadily deteriorating doctor-patient relationship and medical ethics. Due to volume of work, or laziness or monetary considerations, now most of the doctors spend much less time in interacting with the patients than ordering expensive and not infrequently un-necessary investigations and procedures. This was stated by Prof. Kh.Saadiq Husain an eminent physician of the country and former President of College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan.
